COMPREHENSIVE 5 DAY AUTO LOCK COURSE

This course is designed for those, either new to the industry, or with limited experience in the Auto Locksmith field. This is an extremely intensive 5 day Course and will cover every aspect of Auto Lock work and will explore in great detail all topics within the training syllabus. Auto Locks and their operations are explained in detail, allowing the trainee ample time to come to terms with various locks and the associated picking techniques, as well as tools and their uses. On completion of the course the trainee will have gained sufficient training to reach a level of competence in all auto related procedures and will have reached an intermediate level in all relevant skills.

Marketing & Advertising skills, costing and pricing structures as well as record keeping and disclaimer forms will be covered.

The Course Aim
To teach basic skills required attaining a level of competence in all general Auto Locksmith Procedures.

To teach entry techniques, Key cutting, Removal and service to door and ignition systems etc, allowing on site emergency auto work to be carried out with confidence in all situations.

Course Content
Each course is run with a maximum of four students on each course. Students will learn how to strip, repair, service and assemble both ignition and door lock mechanism's on the following vehicles:-

All Fords

All Vauxhalls

All Rovers

Peugeot & Renault

Motorcycles

Other makes & models (BMW, Toyota, Fiat, Volkswagen, Honda etc will be discussed with the time permitting.)

The students will have discussed (and where possible practised) the various entry techniques, methods of entry, tools used, weaknesses, short cuts and entry options for most makes of cars. Raw materials are supplied and some entry tools will be made as part of the course.

The course is run by experienced Locksmiths for those wishing to advance their knowledge or new to the industry in an informal rural setting. A maximum of two courses are run each month, this is a comprehensive 5 day course, covering every aspect of the Auto Locksmith industry. Course handouts (literature) for all procedures are made available throughout the course. (The current MB Locks Training Manual is issued to every student who passes through the course). A slide presentation on every vehicle is reinforced with a hands on approach at the workbench. This course is designed to take the students from basic to intermediate in Auto Locksmith procedures.

A certificate is issued on course completion

COURSE PRICES:-

Until May 2006 we have trained form our UK base in Norfolk, where the course price was £950. Having relocated our entire operation, the same course is now run from our training room in the relaxing sun soaked atmosphere 70 miles North of Seville at our M.B. Locks purpose designed workshops in Spain. The course duration is five days commencing each morning at 0800hrs (8am) and completing each day at 1400hrs (2pm). With the cost of living considerably less than the UK, we can offer the same course at an extremely competitive rate without the compromise of our high training standards

We have now made the MB Locks training course available at "LESS" overall cost than our previous successful UK operation. Also offering the opportunity to bring a partner and incorporate a business / holiday opportunity if desired.

The cost for the course is £750.00 per person (inc VAT). Refreshments are available whilst on the course.

Flights are the responsability of the trainee and will vary in price according to the time of year and the airport of departure. Seville is the nearest airport to MB Locks Spain and is served by a number of international UK airlines.
